A boom truck does two jobs in one trip. The deck behind the cab carries the material, the crane behind that puts it where it belongs, and the whole unit drives at road speed between stops. For a delivery-and-set day, that is the difference between one machine and a truck plus a crane plus the coordination between them.
It is the fastest thing in our fleet to get working. No lowboy, minimal setup, outriggers down and lift. On a job where the crane time is 20 minutes and the driving is two hours, the boom truck is almost always the right economics.
What it is not is a substitute for a rough terrain on heavy or long-radius work. Twenty-five tons at minimum radius comes down fast as the boom extends. When the pick is genuinely heavy, we will point you at the 40-ton truck crane or a rough terrain instead.

We publish only what we can stand behind. Boom and jib lengths, dimensions, weights and the load chart come with the quote, off the sheet for the actual unit in our yard rather than a number copied from a spec site for a different build of the same model.

Operated crane work bills against an hourly minimum, portal to portal. The clock runs from our yard and back rather than only while the crane sits on your pad, which is standard for operated service and is the number people forget to compare when they shop a rate.
A rigger or signal person is added per man when the pick calls for one. There is no fuel surcharge and no counterweight fee. Larger jobs are quoted as clean separate lines so mobilization, setup and crane time are each visible instead of rolled into one figure you cannot check.
Boom truck work is where the hourly minimum matters most, because setup is quick and the pick is often short. Batching several stops into one dispatch is usually the cheapest way to run it.
Quoted per job. On a boom truck the drivers are mostly about the route and the day, not the tonnage.

The clock runs from the north Phoenix yard and back, so route order and distance both matter.

The boom truck is a metro Phoenix machine by nature, because its advantage is covering several sites in a shift. We will run it further across Arizona when the job calls for it.

If the crane you were counting on goes down mid-pour, mid-set or mid-schedule, we run a replacement out of whatever is available in the yard rather than telling you to move the date. Dispatch starts at 4:30am, six days a week, and emergency work goes to the front of the queue.
